Hello, Kind of new here, I've just been lurking the forum before but since I can't really find an answer to my question I decided to register.
I would like to know if anyone has a clue on which effect pedals Joe used on "Frequencies from Planet Ten". Preferbly brand/model etc.
About 3 minutes into the song "The Astral Project" (the breakdown), I'd like to know which effect he uses on the clean riff. I bet it's a chorus/phaser or something and that they have double tracked the riff.
Also the song "Song of the Purple Mushroom Fields" has a great wah-like effect. I think it's a phaser or something combined with an Auto-Wah or something. Perhaps someone could fill me in here.
So yeah, I'd just like to know what gear Joe uses.
A big thanks goes out to Orange Goblin for making the great music they are making, you truly are an inspiration and I hope you get the popularity you deserve.

I don't know what was used in the studio but live Joe uses a Sansamp Pedal, a Boss Tuner Pedal and a Cry-Baby Wah! Joe also uses Gibson SG's, Marshall JCM 900 amps and Matamp speakers, Ernie Ball Strings and plectrums we get free from Jagermeister.
Martyn uses a Sansamp pedal, a Boss Tuner and a Big Muff distortion pedal. He plays a 1972 fender Jazzmaster bass, Ampeg SVT amps and Ampeg 8x10 speaker cabinets. I think he uses RotoSound bass strings.
Chris uses Ludwig drums, Paiste Cymbals and Gibraltar Hardware. Kick Drum (26"), Rack Tom (14"), Floor Tom (16") and Snare (14"). 16" and 18" Crash cymbals, 14" Hi-Hats and 22" Ride.
I use and lose Shure SM58 microphones and drink alcohol because I demand the best!
Hope this is OK.
Ben

I guess I still have to search around the internet for an answer to the great question "What is that lovely acid-like chorus on Frequencies from Planet Ten"? Come to Sweden on the next tour and I'll make sure you get some Swedish alcohol. And thanks to bassolow and Martyn for replying to the thread.

By the way, it seems like that the pickup in Martyn's bass isn't original as It's white, not black. What pickup is it?
(I got a big fixation for precision basses so I need to know everything.)
