this year I'm buying a long-awaited head for my thunderbird, and I do not know which one to choose: ampeg svt3pro or ampeg v4bh(all tube : ) can anyone you guys be of help? my funds will be approx 900$ or 450/500 pounds. maybe you, bass users, want to change the gear and have an ampeg for sale? I REALLY WANT TO BUY IT? ps. is everything OK with the svt4? got any pics? i will have the 350 pounds + delivery(50 to POland is enough?) after the 15th November, 2006. so wait and be patient. did I mentioned I truly want to buy it? |

Don't stress javny. it's yours if you want it. i'm in no rush.
the only thing wrong with it,is it does'nt have a flight case any more,hence the scratches on it. but apart from that its fine.i had trouble with it initially,but i think its because i was a bit in experianced and was trying to drive the hell out of it. but its fine now. i don't really use it anymore and it has only been used once since i had it serviced. i just prefer to use something else.

I play with Ampeg V4BH with SVT410 cab and its sound really sweet with my Fender precision bass. Haven't tried that model but as long as its Ampeg it ought to be good.
I've Been dying to try some Orange bassheads just because they're orange! Any experience of Oranges, fellas?
