Internal Void and Wretched are ICONIC DOOM BANDS period! These bands were an integral part of the whole maryland/DC EARLY-MID 90S Doom scene which also featured Unorthodox,Iron Man,Pentagram,The Obsessed,Revelation,these bands deserve RESPECT from ANY DOOM/STONER fan!

Respect and personal taste are two different things, man. I think Wretched and Internal Void sucked. Internal Void more so. Wretched had a couple of really good songs. Internal Void were uninspired and dull-as-dishwater. And early-mid-90's doom scene? You're kidding right? Pentagram and The Obsessed started in the 70's, Revelation started in about '87, Iron Man and Unorthodox harken back to the early 80's. And what's all this about Blessed Realm? Were you in this band, Katshevil? What did you do? Drums? I know they had a few drummers come and go. I'm sure they did a demo with a drum machine or something once. They had a couple of good riffs but fuck, did they suck bad. I remember a song called Jezebel or something. And the lyrics were a fucking joke. Especially some tape I have of some live songs - symbolical harmony or something. Terrible, terrible lyrics and a funny little freak on vocals - sorry to slag off your old band, Katshevil, but that singer of yours! Haha. |

Yes, I was thinking of that London band Sloth. I saw them twice and that was enough for me. They had a cd called Hand Of God or something and I didn't like that at all.
Do you remember Mourn? What happened to them? They did a great demo but I thought the album was rubbish.
Serpent from Sweden was a shitty band too. Just thought of them...

So whats wrong with Reverend Bizarre? They're a pure doom band, not a stoner band. Although I havent heard lot of their material Im gonna be defensive 'cause they're from Finland, and with such a small population we must watch each others backs.

Sorry man. Are those guys popular around here or something? Maybe I was a bit harsh, but I thought they sucked pretty bad. They were like a bad parody of doom rock or something. Or a good parody for that matter. Ah, what do I know?

hhehe *giggles* i was involved with Blessed Realm yes! Tahtlive tape was bad,only 2nd gig we ever did,and our drummer wrote the lyrics to Jezebel!!!! not me!!!! iwas the funny little freak on vocals and i still am a funny little freak and quite proud of it!!! Although i dont have ginger hair anymore hahaha!!!! hey Skullcrusher everyone is entitled to their opnion,would be a boring world if everyone thought the same about bandsetc...but you didnt like internal void and serpent etc(another great band in my opinion!!!)so im not offended!!!!!!  hehehe...i think blessed realm wasa band that attracted alot of mixed opinions,some people loved us,some tohught we were okay some people thought we were shit,cant please everyone though!!!!!!!! |
