Seems like i am developing some sort of little guest fanclub of sorts Javny! These are people who have something against me for whatever reason(this goes back a lil while!) and are using unfounded and ill facted things towards me.This person obviously hasnt got a clue what he is talking about period.Idiot!!!!! oh skullcrusher! no offence taken!!!! nah i wrote the lyrics to "symbolic harmony" im quite ashamed to say hahaha!!!! i was trying to be all trippy and psyched out but it ummm..didnt work too good!!!!!! the lyrics to "Jezebel" however were very personal to our drummer,he wrote them about a broken relationship which really affected him so those lyrics contain ALOT of personal frustration/anger/bitterness/ it is no way a mysoginistic /sexist song as the lyrics COULD be percieved just a very personal emotional song...i did however alter the lyrics to the last verse as the original ones were quite cheesy..but...ive heard FAR worse lyrics hahaha...the song ROCKS HARD though.thats all that counts! lyrics were always secondary to us...music and riffs and decent vocals lines(once i d learned to sing properly on 2nd demo)were our priority!!! i like that song though has a rockin COC vibe to it i think (and have been told by quite a few ppl they think it is very COC sounding esp the vocals,im chuffed with that!!!!)

oh on the subject of this thread which i find rather pointless as its not cool to slag off hardworking bands on a forum...but i wnat to draw this to the attention of Martyn and Ben.There is a thread on Hellride Music forum called "worst doom bands" started by well you can guess (initials RW)! Its a poll and mentions Blessed Realm and OG... among other bands including his own!!!!! Its quite an amusing read..but again totally pointless what is trying to be achieved from starting that thread is beyond me...but its funny!!!!! funny cuz its soo childish and idiotic!!!! oh and skullcrusher...what Doom /stoner bands do you actually LIKE?!!!!!! Seems like you dont like alot of em hahah!!!!

i think that thread is part joke part slagging bands but either way only a dumbass would do that .Why though is anyones guess!!!!!!! There are alot of bands i dont like but i wouldnt start off a thread dissing hardworkin bands just cuz i dont like em.Skullcrusher take note!!! i noticed you posted on hellride music page,i think it was you by the looks of it! funny what you had to say but calm it with slagging off bands! What stoner/doom bands do I actually like? Well, for doom metal bands, I'd name Death Row/Pentagram, old Penance, Dream Death, Nemesis/old Candlemass, Revelation, Saint Vitus (esp. Reagers era stuff), Count Raven, Solstice, Dawn of Winter, Warning, Solitude, Paul Chain, Trouble, Witchfinder General... out of new bands I've heard, I'd say The River are okay with their hearts in the right places and good ideas. And I heard one track of a band by Solomon Kane on MySpace. That was great sounding stuff.

And in response to your other comment, Kat mate, sorry but I haven't got the time or energy to be bothered with pussy-footing around and making thinly concealed criticisms or "constructive" comments about music that I think is, quite simply, garbage. Everyone that creates music has to face at least one person that thinks they suck and any strong-willed, determined musician bound by integrity shouldn't be upset by some barbed remark by an anonymous nobody like me on some oscure internet board. I think the new Reverend Bizarre sucks. I think it's the most self-indulgent, tepid, uninspired, pretentious, conceited dross I've ever heard. However most people apparently think otherwise so I doubt the band'll care.
I thought Blessed Realm sucked too - apparently you don't care either - if anything you seem to agree with your self-deprecating replies. So that's what I think about that. Sorry man, but as you get older I find you care less about upsetting people with saying what you feel and I find I have less patience with turgid shit that passes as music or any other art form that may be in discussion.
